Instructions:

Extremely stretchy fabrics such as Lycra/Spandex or any non-dyed polyester fabricwhere an improvement in elasticity is required Stencils: Avoid using water-resistant emulsions as they can react with the components used to manufacture Unistretch and cause the ink to lock-up and clog the mesh openings. Any other solvent resistant direct emulsions or capillary films will be acceptable. Mixing Instructions Unistretch Clear: Up to 35% Unistretch Clear may be added to any recommended Union plastisol to achieve desired elongation in print. Do Not mix into inks formulated for polyester or print this product onto any dyed fabric containing polyester as it will promote dye migration. Printing Instructions: For white or light colored fabrics with Unistretch Clear: Up to 35% by weight of the UNSE-9160 can be added to any of the Union Ink standard plastisol series. However, for best overall results our Athletic Nylon Gloss (PATE) is recommended. For white or light colored fabrics with Unistretch White: Unistretch White prints well through mesh counts as fi ne as 230 (92 metric). However, for the best opacity and stretch, it is recommended that printers use coarser meshes ranging from 110-140 (43-56 metric) For printing on dark colored fabrics several options are available: Print a high quality white, fl ash, and overprint with conventional inks containing the percentage of Unistretch Clear for the desired opacity and stretch. Print a high quality white, fl ash, overprint with conventional inks, fl ash and overprint with Unistretch Clear. Add up to 35% by weight of Unistretch Clear or Unistretch White to a high quality white, print as an under base and then overprint with colors mixed with Unistretch Clear. Curing Instructions: Unistretch Clear and Unistretch White will cure when the entire ink film thickness reaches 300ԍ F (149ԍ C). Laboratory and fi eld testing has shown that ink film temperatures of 330ԍF (167ԍC) greatly increases stretchability of print. Wash-Up: Immediately clean the screens and squeegees with mineral spirits or any screen wash designed for plastisol inks. PRODUCTS: Standard Colors UNSE-1000 White / UNSE-9160 Clear Additive

Union Ink does not knowingly add plasticizers containing the phthalates listed and outlined in California Bill 1108, CPSIA HR-4040 and Oeko-tex Standard 100. The plasticizers identified may include di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP), (DIBP) Di-iso-butyl, and (DMP) Dimethylphthalate, including esters of ortho-phthalic acid and are not direct ingredients in the manufacture of our Non-Phthalate Inks. Union Ink does not test the final product for amounts of the aforementioned phthalate plasticizers and esters and encourages all users to conduct testing for their intended use.
