| "magic numbers", the values that allow you to install the Tru-Tone 4-color Process colors directly into Adobe Photoshop ®This is the spectral ink data for Union Tru-Tone Plastisol inks. This data is used in Adobe Photoshop to accurately represent both the color and dot gain of the Tru-Tone inks when printed manually and automatically. The files can be used for both the IBM PC and Macintosh machines. There are five versions of the file. The generic version, UPRPLGEN.api can be used for both manual and automatic printing. It is not tuned as closely as the other versions. The remaining set-up files are for 305 and 355 mesh. The complete instructions will appear in the readme file which will appear when you unzip the download. You will need a utility like 7-zip or Stuffit on apple products to uncompress the files. |
