APPLICATIONS
U-Strip is a liquid stencil remover that is formulated for the fast removal of all non-permanent diazo, bichromate, dual-cure, and pure photopolymer emulsions, direct-indirect emulsions, and indirect films (except gelatin-based films) from screen mesh.
U-Strip is supplied in liquid form in one gallon polyethylene bottles. U-Strip is safe for use on all screen fabrics, such as polyester, nylon, stainless steel and metalized polyester. This product is biodegradable and virtually odorless and will not produce eye-smarting fumes. U-Strip is economical to use and ten ounces of solution will remove approximately 8-10 square feet of stencil area in less than two minutes.
After all traces of ink have been removed, wet the screen with water. Soak a rag in undiluted U-Strip and apply to both sides of the screen, rubbing very lightly until the surface becomes tacky. Protective gloves should be worn when using U-Strip. Allow the screen to stand for 1-2 minutes. Apply cold or warm water with a sharp spray, preferably using a pressure washer. Screen may be re-coated when dry. If re-coated within 24 hours, no degreasing is necessary.
