Concentrated Flattening Agent may be added to plastisol inks when the desired effect is to reduce the high-gloss shine often found with some applications.
Using a plastisol mixed with PLUS-9010 will also reduce the tack in the finish. When this mixture is used as a backing for transfers, this may eliminate the need to include a slip sheet in the transfer packaging bag.
The recommended range of Concentrated Flattening Agent to add is 1-5% by weight. To ensure consistent results over time, care should be taken to measure and record the exact proportion of PLUS-9010 that achieved the desired effect.
Due to the formulation of the Concentrated Flattening Agent, it can be easily stirred directly into the plastisol by hand.
BE SURE TO TEST THOROUGHLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE IN PRODUCTION.
