RETARDER

 

PAVASSIST SLOW (PARM-9005)

 

Characteristics: Clear, thin liquid that slows evaporation of ink and extends open time. Lab tests indicate that open time of fine line areas trippled with addition of 6% SLOW to an ink containing no retarder, and quadrupled with addition of 8% SLOW.

 

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL INFORMATION: Made with the safest possible ingredients and represents no health hazard in normal use but direct exposure could cause mild eye irritation and prolonged contact with undiluted SLOW could cause mild skin irritation.

Application: Up to 8% recommended. Higher concentration may effect washability. NOTE! Some RFU inks and bases already contain retarder so wash testing should be performed to determine maximum safe level. One part SLOW mixed with 3 parts water misted over ink in the screen helps keep screens open during extended work stoppages.

 

Shelf Life: Up to 2 years if kept tightly sealed in a cool place.
