A non-yellowing, self-cross-linking binder that will fix at temperatures as low as 250°F for 5 minutes and thus can impart excellent durability to washing and dry cleaning when a dry printed or dyed garment is tumbled in a clothes dryer on hottest possible setting.

Components are not listed in 29 CFR 1910.1000, Subpart Z or ACGIH threshold limit values (TLV). Container label should read:

Application: As a general rule, use at a one-to-one ratio of color-to-Binder, but, the minimum amount of Binder should not be less than 5% regardless of how little pigment is used. A maximum of 15% should insure washability regardless of how much standard or fluorescent pigment is used. Up to 40% my be required for use with metallic flakes.

 

Fixing: 320°F for 1½ minutes in a dryer with good airflow should set PAVONINE Binder H-36 MS. Adequate wash resistance can be achieved at temperatures as low as 250°F for 5 minutes. A pre-dried garment can be satisfactorily fixed in most home clothes dryers set on highest possible temperatures. PERFORM WASH TEST TO MAKE SURE ADEQUATE DRYER TEMPERATURES ARE BEING ACHIEVED. 0.5 - 1.5% PAVAFIX A can be used to achieve washability when adequate temperatures are not attained.

 

Shelf life: 1 year if kept tightly closed in a cool, dry area. DO NOT FREEZE.
