For use with SPARKLETONE BASE, PAVOSTRETCH CLEAR, or other suitable waterbased bases. Can be dusted on top of PAVOSTRETCH CLEAR, PAVOSTRETCH OPAQUE or PAVOSTRETCH WHITE (requires up to 8% PAVAFIX H for best adhesion) to produce "diamond dust" effects. Can also be used in Union Inks ATHLETIC CLEAR FOR GOLD (PATH-9030) or CLEAR FOR GLITTER (PAGL-9030) plastisols or other suitable bases.
For use on various substrates as determined by base. Can even be used in or dusted on PAVOSTRETCH CLEAR (with up to 8% FIX H) and used on almost any fabric including most Waterproof fabrics.
MIXING: Mix 12% (For best hand) to 20% (for maximum coverage) with bases listed above. Mix only what will be used in one day because the flakes will corrode and become dull.
MESH: 40 T or courser.
REDUCTION: As required for printability with water when using waterbased and plastisol reducer when using plastisol bases.
DRYING: Metallic flakes reflect light energy so cure can take longer or require higher temperatures than the normal 320°F or more for a minimum of 90 seconds in a dryer with good airflow when using an infrared oven. Addition of up to 8% Fix H will improve adhesion and washfastness of properly cured prints but make the hand stiffer. 2% Fix A should make air dried prints or prints dried through inadequate ovens washable. 4% Fix C should adhere air dried prints to difficult substrates such as water proof nylon or LycraŽ without ruining elasticity.
Shelf life: Is practically infinite if kept dry.
